This weekend I paid my first visit to The Bram Stoker International Film Festival in Whitby. I have to say I had a wonderful time. Everyone I met was very friendly and made me very welcome.
I set up my stand on Thursday afternoon in preparation for the show getting underway on Friday. I was a little nervous as this is the biggest show Alter Ego has done so far. I hope you think my display looks good. I was quite pleased with it. From the reaction of the lovely customers i think it was OK.
Friday was the first official day of the show. Everyone was full of compliments for me. A lot of customers commented that they had been looking for someone like me for a long time as they find it difficult to get Goth Cards. I met a lovely couple from Middlesbrough, the lady told me her husbands birthday is at Halloween and she always has to get a Halloween card for him intead of a birthday card. How awfull and I hope she never has to do that again.

Saturday was again a very sucessful day. I was even persuaded to try on a corset by Marie of Forever in Black. I have to say I liked the result. However I am trying to lose weight at the minute so a corset will have to wait until I have lost the weight I want to. Don't give up on me I will get there eventually.

Sunday was alittle quieter but still busy for me. A lot of people asked if I would be back for The Goth weekend. Unfortunatly it is to late for this event, however I intend to be there at the next Goth weekend in April.
This picture was taken by Carol Earl of Sweet Nibblets Confectionary, and shows me with the beautiful Handmade Headwear of Diamond Saphire. All of these hats are made from scratch by Carol Smith.
I had a wonderful time over the three days I was there. I met some lovely people and hope to meet many more. Roll on April for the next event.
